I have an interview at SN Systems in Bristol, and I am sooo nervous. The bit I am most worried about is the techincal interview, never done one before. I am really excited about the possiblilty of getting this placement.
I was recently reading through a discussion board asking the question ‘Can you give me one logical reason why God exists?’ When I last looked there were 22954 posts by 3023 people. I added to the choas with
The Hebrew word for God means life and power. Does life exist? (You cannot deny that unless you try way too hard) Does power exist? (What lets me move my fingers to type this? What sends the electrons spinning around a nucleus in an atom? What allows our hearts to beat? Everything is powered by power!)
Therefore God exists.
Dont think of God as a dude in the sky, God is everything that exists, and everything that doesnt exist.
I was wondering what other peoples opinions about this are.
About 7 or 8 weeks ago I went to the doctors because I had a horrid cough, he told me that I had a chest infection and gave me a weeks course of antibiotics. 1 week ago I went back to the doctors because I was still coughing and he gave me some different antibiotics, now I have nearly finished the second course and my chest hurts when I breathe or move or talk or do anything really. It is not fun. If I am not better by Wednesday or Thursday I will have to have a chest x-ray done. :’(
On a different note I have an exam on Friday and another exam the Wednesday after, so I haven’t got too much to revise for.
As from Friday, Dani is without a job as his 3-month contract with Curverider is over.
Take a look at his blog about this http://vanirsystems.com/danielsblog/2007/11/21/wanted-job/
As for me, I am very busy working at Asdals and doing my coursework ( as always :p ), I only have 3 bits of coursework left to be finished this semester so I am not behind, which leaves me able to concentrate on other things, like playing Sims2…
Dani managed to slice his finger open on a glass yesterday which he tried to catch after it shattered, silly boy!
I have just mopped the kitchen floor in preparation for the house inspection tomorrow, and I found out that the mop is going bald, making it almost useless.

Planning to stay up late to get my data structures coursework completed tonight, so I will be needing large supplies of chocolate to help me to last! Once this coursework is completed all I need to do is finish my systems programming coursework on the train home tomorrow, and then I am done!
I am also thinking about redoing my website, as it is a little out of date. Any suggestions for content / styles / features / etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Love, from Beki.
Mondays I have lectures 1 - 4pm, and I work 5 - 10pm

Today the choir at St Margaret’s, Oxford (of which I am a member) sang O Sacrum Convivium by Messiaen at the Eucharist service today. This is a very hard bit of music to sing! But, I think that we just about managed it. One of the hymns we sung today was about St Simon and St Jude, as it is their festival today. A chance to sing this song only comes round once every 6 years, when the festival falls on a Sunday. The hymn was 195 (NEH) Lord of all the saints, we praise thee.
The choir practices for 45 mins on a Friday, and about 20 mins before the service on Sundays. On Friday we are starting to practice the music for the Christmas carol service, which is on the 2nd of December!
Hi,
I was hoping that you all could help me with a little project that I have currently running. It is on a webpage called intercessions.co.uk.
What I need you to do is email me with any prayers that you would like to share with other people, include the name of who worte it, then I will put it on the website for all to see! Once we start getting submissions then I may start a prayer circle housed within the website.
Thanks,
Love from Beki
